Danbo’s May

This month has been positively MANIC. Would I do it over? Absolutely not, but it has definitely been a certain brand of crazy. I am proud of myself for keeping up with my Danbo – especially since so many other things have been forgotten!

Our car has been half-broken for a week, and broken-broken since Monday. We picked it up today and were VERY excited to not be mooching rides off of friends and walking. Few things can make you feel more helpless than being without a vehicle. Moral of the story? Don’t put too many keys and junk on your keys – it will break a damn-near microscopic piece off of your steering column and it will cost a small fortune to fix it. : (

A Danbo-sized pine cone!

SOME progress!

I started this blanket back in February but stopped and haven’t really touched it since then. Since most of the craziness in our life has died down (aside from some pesky car troubles…arghhhhhh…that will hopefully be solved on Tuesday), I went back to working on it. I couldn’t get more than a row and a half in because my hands have really been hurting me these past few weeks, but I think it’s quite lovely. I hope my baby enjoys it as much as I have enjoyed making it for my little love!

I think I will need to do another 15 or so rows before I feel even close to finished. It’s going to take a while, so thank goodness I have some time!
